A bit about your role
As the Network Jeopardy Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing the daily schedule at the beginning of each day for the Network & Complex stream and actioning any unscheduled work orders, monitoring technician route activation, and managing any unplanned absences.
Key responsibilities of the Network Jeopardy Officer will be monitoring high priority work orders to ensure SLAs are met within agreed timeframes and key stakeholders including the Network Operations Centre (NOC) are informed of any risks. The role will require you to utilize a detailed analysis of local geography, technician efficiency and skills to allocate tasks where manual assignment is required based on business priorities.
The role requires an understanding of planning, scheduling and dispatch services, proactively highlighting risks to the business, and take action where able, or escalate appropriately. A good understanding of the nbn network and knowledge of the nbn network assurance and maintenance activities is an advantage.
A bit about you
As the Network Jeopardy Officer you will bring strong multi-tasking capabilities, and demonstrate the ability to build rapport with field technicians, effectively manage real-time network jeopardy situations, and provide constructive feedback to WOC Works Coordinators and third-party field supervisors
A successful candidate will have strong communication & customer service skills, including collaboration skills to achieve results in an inclusive manner. You will demonstrate the ability to think quickly while proactively identify operational risks. Ideally you will demonstrate analytical skills to manage and monitor large sets of data and identify business and operational risks.
Lastly, the Network Jeopardy officer will have the ability to function pro-actively and capable of seeking out, suggesting and implementing improved efficiency measures, while understanding and utilizing complex processes and procedures in order to problem-solve. You will manage time efficiently, working on multiple people and projects in parallel and meeting agreed timeframes.
